三道嶺の続きです。今回は、わずかに一本だけ残された、露天掘の中を下る路線の状況を紹介します。

This is the sequel of Sandaolin. In this article, I show the current condition of the last rail line going down to the open-pit coal mine.
往時の様子は、http://homepage2.nifty.com/QJSYJ/LTED77.htm (STEAM IN CHINA)や、http://www.sy-country.co.uk/trains/china575.htm (SY-Country)のサイトなどで見ることができますが、階段状のベンチの一段一段に線路が敷かれ、SLがワラワラと走り回る往時の賑やかな光景と比較してしまうと、全くもって寂しい限り。こうなるとむしろ一本だけでも残しておいてくれてたことが有り難く感じられてしまいます。
この、最後の一本も果たしていつまで残しておいてくれるかわかりませんので、ご関心のある方は一刻も早く訪問することをお勧めします。
The pictures of Sandaolin in past days can be seen in some amazing websites such as http://homepage2.nifty.com/QJSYJ/LTED77.htm (STEAM IN CHINA) and http://www.sy-country.co.uk/trains/china575.htm (SY-Country). Comparing with those lively scenery which many locomotives were operated on each bench in the opencast, the current condition is so lonely. However, we should grateful that the coal mine company left the last line.
I don't know how long the last precious line remains. If you are interested in Sandaolin, I recommend to visit there as soon as you can.
