火車撮影家集団写真展「世界の線路端から」 Photo exhibition of "The Huǒchē (Train) Photographer Group", "The scenery beside the railway all over the world"

私も参加している「火車撮影家集団」の写真展が開催されます。場所は新宿御苑前のアイデムフォトギャラリー「シリウス」です。会期は10月8日～10月14日ですが、10月11日の日曜日はお休みです。今回は中国のSLだけではなくて、世界中の僻地の鉄道の写真展になります。

こちらのサイトで紹介されている写真は、スーダンの鉄道の写真です。経済制裁を受けているせいか、ボロボロの木造客車ですが、一応ちゃんと動きます。大虐殺で知られるダルフール地方から、首都ハルツームへ向かいます。何日かかるのかはわかりません。この写真を撮ったときも、駅ではないところに何となく止まっていました。乗務員らしき人に、何時に出発するのか訪ねたところ、19時だ、と教えてくれたのですが、その時既に19時半でした。

The picture on this site was taken in Sudan. Sudan is still under economic sanction. The passenger cars of the train were wooden and tattered but they could still move. The train departed from Darfur known as the region of massacre to the capital city, Khartoum. I don't know how long it takes to Khartoum. When I took this picture, the train was in front of the hotel I stayed. Though it was not the station, the train stayed there. I asked a crew about the departure time and the crew answered "19:00". However, it was already 19:30.
