中部ベトナムの鉄道といえば、ダナン～フエ間のハイヴァン峠は外せません。国道一号線はハイヴァントンネルで峠を通過してしまいますが、鉄道の方はエッチラオッチラと峠を越えていきます。この季節はまだあまり天気が良くないのですが、下見がてらに峠まで出かけてきました。運良く、プッシュプルの貨物列車が通過するところに出くわすことができましたが、本番は夏の天気の良くなった頃に。

The most famous and popular points of the railway in the central Vietnam must be Hai Van pass. Nowadays, National road No.1 pass through the Hai Van pass by a long tunnel but the train climbing a mountain slowly. I visited the pass as location hunting though the weather condition is not fine in this season. Luckily I could see the pushu-pull cargo train. I will visit here in deep summer again.

中部ベトナムのフエ～ドンホイ～ビン間を頻繁に移動しているのですが、仕事が終わってからの移動になるので、夜間の移動が多くなります。今回は夜間の列車の発車の光景です。ドアの開閉は手作業ですので、車両には一人ずつ乗務員が乗車していて、発車時には各車両の乗務員が合図灯を掲げます。

Recently I'm moving from/to Hue - Dong Hoi - Vinh often. Since I have to move after working time, most of my trips are in night time. Each coach has a conductor and they open and close the door. When a train departures, each conductor hoists signal lamp.

ここ数年、ベトナムに用事があってチョコチョコ出かけています。なかなか鉄道で移動する機会がなかったのですが、最近ようやく鉄道でHue - Vinh - Ha Noi間を移動することができるようになりました。今年の11月からはこれまで以上にベトナム出張が増えますので、鉄道で移動する機会も、鉄道を撮影する機会も増えると思います。

I have visited Vietnam often for these a few years. I hadn't had chance to use railway to move from a pilot site to another pilot site. Recently, I could use night train to move between Hue, Vinh and Ha Noi. I will work in Vietnam more often from Nov 2015. I will be able to use railways and take pictures of trains more.
