中国 甘粛省白銀市の蒸気機関車（１） 山間を行く客車列車 Steam Locomotives in Baiyin, Gansu, China (1)

甘粛省白銀市の白銀有色金属公司の蒸気機関車です。鉱山会社の専用線ですので、もちろん貨物列車も運行していますが、客車列車も運行しています。昔ながらの緑色のままの塗装なのも嬉しいところです。

山間を縫うように登ってくる蒸気機関車はやはり格別で、ドラフト音だけがこだましているものの、待てども待てども姿は見えない、という、あの待ち時間は堪えられませんね。ドキドキ感の持続が半端ないです。

At Baiyin Nonferrous Metal Group at Baiyin City, Gansu Province is still operating Steam Train in their exclusive railway. Not only cargo trains but also passenger trains are still operated. The passenger cars are old-style green colored.

The steam train running among mountainous area, cannot be seen from far away but we can hear their chugging sound from a long distance. It's a wonderful time to wait a steam train hearing their sound on mountains.

朝日を浴び、白煙をたなびかせて汽車が山を登ってきます。
The steam train is climbing mountains glittering in the morning light with white smoke.

幾重にも連なる荒涼とした山脈を縫って汽車は走ります。
Steam Train runs in deep and desolate mountains.

冬場ならではの盛大な煙です。
Great smoke only in winter.
