モンゴルの鉄道

この8月にモンゴルを訪問する機会に恵まれました。せっかくですので、ウランバートル近郊のオメガカーブで撮影してきました。

時間がなかったので、本格的な俯瞰撮影はできなかったのですが、できれば再訪して再挑戦したいところです。

Trains in Mongolia

I could visit Mongolia in this August. I went to the Khonkhor loop near Ulan bator to take pictures.

Since I didn't have enough time, I couldn't take long shots from the surrounding hills. If possible, I'd like to visit here again.

夜景の写真は夜11時近くに撮影したのですが、モンゴルではサマータイムを実施していて、日の入りが夜10時近く、この時間でもまだ西の空がうっすらと白んでいます。撮影している際に遊牧民が馬の群れと共にやってきて、（多分）「あんた、こんな時間にこんなところで何してるんだ？」というようなことを聞かれましたので、「ピクチャー、ピクチャー」と答えたら、「おおー」と言ってそのまま去って行きました。

The night scene was taken at around 11:00p.m. In Mongolia, they adopt the daylight-saving time and sunset is around 10:00p.m. At 11:00p.m., the western sky was still slightly bright. When I took the picture, a nomad with a herd of horses came to me and asked (probably) "What are you doing here this late at night?" and I replied "Picture, picture". He was surprised and said "Oh!" and left.
